H.D.A. provides information to the membership three times a year through its publication The Yardstick. We also reach out to suppliers through advertising and to potential customers through links with various associations through our web site.

The Hardwood Distributors Association holds an annual meeting in conjunction with the National Hardwood Lumber Association.

Our annual meeting offers gatherings and programs with excellent opportunities for one on one and group networking. From our general membership meeting, educational programs, yard tours, to our social functions, you will have time to share ideas or problem solve with member firms. The benefit to problem solving with member firms that do not directly compete in your market, can save your company time and money!

We try to offer educational yard tours of member firms at our annual meeting in cities where yards are available.

H.D.A. works hard to continually educate members, as well as the public, through seminars, programs, tapes, booklets, pamphlets, and association with other organizations. H.D.A. also offers membership a Cost of Doing Business Survey every two years through an independent accounting firm.
